Kona Makena - 2021
$429.00
When you're a kid, riding a bike is the ultimate form of freedom. The Makena is the perfect starter bike for your little cyclist. This kid-friendly frame features 20" wheels with chubby 2.6" tires for excellent traction, Samox Cranks with a 28-tooth chainring, and low standover to make it friendly for the littles, while a 1x drivetrain allows for single-handed shifting and makes it an awesome first "real" bike. Kona 6061 Aluminum Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. Tough, durable, and light alloys, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. Internal Headset Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible.
Kona Honzo 20
$649.00
The Honzo 20 is for the mini ripper who has no problem keeping up with the older sibling and needs a bike that rides hard too! A redesigned frame fits wider 20x2.6" Vee Tire Crown Gem tires, making it easier to roll over obstacles on the trail. QR hubs keep tube swaps easy, and a Suntour XCT DS Plus 60mm fork keeps the ride nice and plush. The Honzo 20 will have your grom taking over the neighborhood in no time! $1,424.00 - $1,699.00
Often imitated, but never duplicated, the Honzo is a part of Kona's foundation. The Honzo is the solution for the rider wanting something a bit more aggressive than a traditional cross-country hardtail. A 120mm fork provides just enough suspension to make quick work of technical sections of trail. Whether you're a seasoned rider looking for a timeless hardtail or a newer rider looking to go a bit deeper into the mountain bike world, the Honzo is an excellent choice.
Kona Unit X
$1,599.00
The Unit X has become a cult favorite among die-hard Kona fans. Maybe it's the Cromoly frame. Maybe it's the fact that it's a bike packing monster, or its well-geared 12-speed drivetrain, or modular dropouts which give you the ability to run it as a single speed if that's your thing. Maybe it's because the rigid fork makes it that much more of a classic. We may never know why the Unit X is such a popular bike, but we can only guess it's because it is one of the most practical machines in our lineup. REYNOLDS 520 CROMOLY Reynolds 520 tubes are mandrel-butted for accurate profiles and available in a wide range of shapes. Weight savings from butting provides competitively priced, light framesets that are noticeably compliant on the road or the trail, and are guaranteed to last a lifetime. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. 44mm HEAD TUBE 44mm headtubes are a versatile spec which works with both straight and tapered steerers by switching out the lower headset cup. The stock configuration is internal and is for 1 1/8" steerer. Switching to an external lower cup allows for the use of a tapered 1.5" steerer. The best of both worlds. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x148mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted.

Kona Rove DL
$1,999.00
You're looking for a smooth ride across mixed terrain. You're a fan of steel. You have discerning taste but aren't caught up in trends. You want a bike that looks good, rides great, and will last you a lifetime. You're the person that buys a great product at a great price. Look no further than the Rove DL. It's been a workhorse for years. Inspired by mountain biking, but decidedly more touring oriented, the Rove DL checks all the boxes for functionality, comfort, and style. KONA CROMOLY Very few materials offer as much shock absorption, durability and supple-ride characteristics as steel. We've never strayed from cycling's original material and have worked tirelessly to adapt, refine and innovate Kona Cromoly framesets as rider demands continue to evolve. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x142mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. For 2017, you'll see the 12x148 Boost standard in the mix. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle. 650b WHEELS 650b wheels and tires have a similar overall diameter to a traditional 700c gravel or commuting tire, but with a smaller diameter rim and a wider, taller tire. The extra air volume in this new generation of urban and mixed-surface tires means they can be run comfortably at lower pressures while still rolling quickly on a variety of surfaces. It's the best of both worlds.
Kona Libre
$2,099.00
The masses have flocked to the Libre. It's known for its ability to crush big rides, carry tons of gear, perform jaw-dropping skids, and may or may not have been tested by wheelieing with one hand while holding a beer in the other.
