The bike features a custom Fox 36 Performance Elite Fork with 140mm of travel to optimize the Hoot Ti ride experience. 3-D titanium printing in the UDH rear dropouts and chainstay yoke pair with short stays for a playful ride. However you choose to ride this titanium hardtail, it’s guaranteed to be a Hoot. PLAYFUL GEOMETRY The geometry of Hoot Ti has one goal: fun. The 425mm chainstays are core to Hoot Ti because they add nimble, playful handling. The 65º head tube and 76º seat tube angles pair for a balanced riding position, while that slack head tube angle, long reach, and low bottom bracket drop of 60mm allow for confident downhill riding on aggressive trails. A shorter standover and lower top tube allow for longer travel dropper posts and more creative, playful riding without the bike getting in the way. Every detail of Hoot Ti contributes to a bike that will bring the party to any trail ride. TITANIUM FRAME The titanium tubing used in the Hoot Ti frame is the 3Al/2.5V grade 9 titanium tubing that has been an industry favorite for decades. These are necessary qualities for tubing that need to live up to the playful requirements of the Hoot Ti geometry. 3-D TITANIUM PRINTING The key to bringing Hoot Ti to life. 3-D titanium printing is present in the rear dropouts and the chainstay yoke. Otso engineers leveraged this technology to give Hoot Ti short 425mm chainstays while maintaining the 29” x 2.6” tire clearance. This also allowed for a hidden dropper post routing port behind the BB shell and twin cable clamps that are molded into the chainstay yoke. 3-D titanium printing is also featured at the rear UDH dropouts for a clean look and a brake mount inside the rear triangle. CUSTOM FORK Hoot Ti is built with a custom Fox 36 Performance Elite 140mm travel fork. While any 140mm fork will work with Hoot Ti, Otso engineers worked directly with Fox for this custom option because they wanted the 36mm stanchion of the Fox 36 with the 140mm travel of the Fox 34. This sturdier stanchion is better suited for aggressive, chunky trail riding. The fork features the new Grip X damper, a 44mm offset, bleeders on the fork lower, and black stanchions with black lowers for a stealth look.

Bear Box Downtube Storage - The all-new Alpine Trail aluminum models now feature our Bear Box integrated downtube storage, complete with a custom nylon bag with a weather-sealed zipper. The hatch door is secure and double-sealed, with bottle bosses. Keep your riding essentials safe and protected from the elements during your big ride. ADJUSTABLE HEADTUBE ANGLE - Using our proprietary headset cups and inserts, the headtube angle on Alpine Trail aluminum models can be adjusted to +0.75° or -0.75° from the standard 63° position, giving the rider three options. PROTECTION - Chainstay and seatstays are protected with durable rubber guards that minimize noise and protect paint finishes, and integrated downtube guards helps deflect errant rocks, logs, or anything else riders may encounter on the trail. - Additionally, all aluminum frame models include a gasket around the cable exit hole reduces noise and prevents the brake hose and derailleur cable from marring the frame, and a mudflap positioned over the lower suspension pivot keeps spray and muck off the bearings. Like all Otso bikes, the Fenrir has adjustable geometry via the patented Tuning Chip rear dropout system that makes the bike as adaptable as its rider. VERSATILITY While all Otso bikes are known for their versatility, the Fenrir might be the most versatile yet. It was designed to accommodate drop bars with a 50mm stem or MTB bars with an 80mm stem. FENRIR WITH FLAT BARS When built with MTB bars, Fenrir rides like a 90s XC bike. It's fun and lively, yet efficient and Capable with a capital C. It can handle any sketchy descent or technical climb with ease. Because the top tube is relatively short for a mountain bike, a longer stem (80-90mm) is ideal for maintaining reach. Ride it on your local singletrack or load 'er up for that backcountry tour that you've been dreaming about--you know the one. However you choose to build it, Fenrir will ride any road/trail on the map and carry all the gear to get you there. DESIGNED FOR BIKEPACKING Every last feature of Fenrir Ti is optimized for bikepacking. The titanium frame is strong, smooth, and lighter than steel. It can be built with flat bars or drop bars depending on your affinity for large handlebar rolls. Single speed is an option for folks who like simplicity while touring. It has extra mounts on the frame and fork for hauling all the gear you'll need for days (or weeks) on the trail. The frame and fork can clear 29" x 2.6" or 27.5" x 2.8" tires for trails that are especially gnarly. No matter your destination and how long it takes to get there, Fenrir Ti is ready. SINGLE SPEED All metal Otso bikes have the option to be built single speed or with gears. Fenrir is included in that group because it has a small notch on the rear dropout near the Tuning Chip.
