Ridley Ridley Ignite SLX w/ rigid fork
$3,115.00
The Ignite SLX is the top hardtail model in Ridley's cross country mountain bike range. This MTB features an extremely ingenious carbon lay-up which is key in achieving such amazing riding characteristics that you'll feel from the first pedal stroke. They use Toray Carbon with high tensile strength for the front end of the bike. At the rear, they opted for a different carbon lay-up to maximize vertical flex. The increased steering angle (trail) provides an extra stable riding feel. R&D also gave the seat stays an asymmetrical, oval shape to maximize stiffness. Don't let a single Watt go to waste! The result is an Ignite SLX MTB that's light, stiff and agile. Take those flowing singletracks and steep slopes faster than anyone else…for the win!
Kona Coco
$889.00
The Coco pays homage to the classic European step-through bicycle. Internal cable routing keeps the lines clean and sleek. Wide, puncture-resistant WTB Horizon Comp tires offer a smooth, comfortable ride. Hydraulic disc brakes are the best kind of bike brake and are especially superior on the wet streets of Portland. This is the bike that makes neighborhood cruising more fun. So fun that you might set out for the nearest convenience store but end up at a farmer's market across town. Great for both paved roads and hard-packed trails like Leif Erickson. Comes with fenders and a kickstand. Racks and baskets will fit without a problem. Your first tuneup is free, as are 6 months of adjustments. Kona Big Honzo
$1,489.00
The Big Honzo is a killer bike for the price. It's got everything you need and nothing you don't. Boost spacing and Shimano hubs hold WTB rims and 27.5+ Ranger tires. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and a Deore 11-speed drivetrain keep the cockpit feel consistent and intuitive. This is the perfect bike for when you need a little extra grip rolling over tricky roots and rocks. Kona 6061 Aluminum Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. Tough, durable, and light alloys, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. Internal Headset Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. Tapered Head Tube More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. Tubeless Compatible Rims Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x148mm Axle 12x142mm, 12x148, and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer dimension of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. 27.5"+ Wheels The benefits of the 27.5-inch wheel are simple: they roll over obstacles and track better than 26-inch wheels, but are more maneuverable and nimble than 29-inch ones.
Marin Fairfax SC6 DLX frameset
$99.00 $259.00 62% Off
These are new framesets (not complete bikes) that had been assembled into complete bikes at the factory. Alloy frame, carbon fork. Compatible with a chain or belt, and with conventional drivetrains, internally geared hubs, or single speed. (Note that if you use a belt, your gearing options are limited to either single speed or an internally geared hub.) The bottom bracket is eccentric, but belt tension is independent of that, so you don't need to mess with the bb when you change a tube or tire or when you reinstall the rear wheel for whatever reason. Want to build your frame up with a conventional drivetrain? Order the rear derailleur hanger along with the frame (see Related Items). *Note that there is no place to mount a front derailleur.* Headset and seatpost collar included. Note: some of these framesets are from the "2016" model year and others are "2016". The only difference is a subtle change in graphics, with the 2017/2018 having a bit more white striping. The photo here of the complete bike is of a 2016. Please let us know your preference in the notes field at checkout. We'll do our best to honor your request.
