An oil change should be annually carried out or at least every 5000km. Through this process, it can be safe to say that there will always be enough oil in the hub regardless of oil loss (due to sweat oil) and that any penetrated water will be rinsed out. In normal humid air they not only have high friction but also very short life because of the rapid oxidation process. Using these additives in chain lubricant, where water is often present, is simply pointless. We also don't use any oils or paraffin oils in the mixture because it adversely impacts the friction. - 340g / 12 oz . +/- 4%.
