2017 Salsa Vaya GX demo/floor model

We're clearing out our 2017 Vaya GX demo/floor models. They have been test ridden but are in pristine condition. Full Salsa warranty applies. Close-up photos available on request; just specify size and color. We can ship these domestically for $89. No tax.

The Vaya GX is our favorite Vaya. It includes a carbon thru-axle fork with lowrider mounts (something you don't see on most carbon forks), mounts for three bottle cages, and clearance for tires up to 47 mm.

Any-road, gravel, commuting, and light touring
Mounting points for rear rack and front lowrider racks
Mounting points for front and rear fenders

From backroad rambling and rails-to-trails touring to workday commutes and all-around fun, you'll enjoy mile after mile of smooth pedaling on the Salsa Vaya. With its vibration-damping Kung Fu chromoly steel frame and carbon fork, Vaya's relaxed geometry provides comfort on any route. Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes increase stopping power in wet conditions, and the compact crankset offers a good range of gearing for climbing mountain fire roads and rolling through the valley below. And, when the skinny path through the woods lures your adventurous side, the Vaya's wide 700 x 40c WTB Nano tires let you explore with stability and confidence. When your best rides include covering all kinds of surfaces, make the Vaya your versatile companion.

Most of our Vayas go out the door with road tires, usually around 35mm wide. If you're going to be mostly commuting, an easy switch to that kind of tires will probably serve you best. We can do that at low cost at the time you purchase your bike, and we can help you pick the best ones. You'll get some credit on the original tires to help offset the cost.
