I bought the blue fade bottle when I purchased my bike and asked if the insulation actually helped. I was told yes, but the 3 times I have used it, I have found that to not be the case. It's more like a double walled cup that stops condensation from dripping, but really won't keep liquid cold long. I loaded it with ice and a fresh bottle of water from my refrigerator before a ride in sub 65 degree weather this past Saturday. It was warm within 1 hour. Actually about 40 minutes in and at just under 8 miles. That was disappointing. Had it loaded back up with ice and again, by the time we reached our vehicle, all ice had melted again.
