The Mission One is a mountain bike that could not have existed just a couple years ago: a so-called "entry level" all-mountain bike that's as capable and tough as bikes that cost thousands of dollars more. As Diamondback's KnuckleBox suspension design has evolved, the bikes that use it have become better—at every level. The Mission One revolves around its tough-as-nails hydroformed aluminum frame with 160mm of Fox suspension travel front and rear. A wide-range SRAM 1×10 drivetrain, Shimano hydraulic brakes (180mm rotors), and a tubeless-ready setup—what’s not to love? It’s dropper-post ready, has a stiff 142×12mm thru-axle rear end, and just plain rips trails apart. If you’re looking to enter the waters of go-anywhere, do-everything full suspension quiver killers, the Mission One is the starting point.

Diamondback's full-suspension models use their innovative Knuckle Box rear linkage. Designed as a single-pivot, four-bar suspension platform, this low and tight system delivers excellent pedaling efficiency with superb small-bump compliance and big-hit control.

Diamondback optimized the rear wheel rate to make the suspension linear at the beginning of the shock stroke and gradually increase to a more progressive rate. This results in superb small-bump compliance, more perceived travel, and excellent bottom-out protection.

Low Center of Gravity:
All suspension parts are positioned farther down on the frame for a stable and balanced ride.

Low Leverage Suspension Design: Lower air pressure results in longer shock life, less frame loading and better pedaling.

Tight, Compact Linkage System:
The rear shock is protected from outside influences.

Large Anodized Aluminum Hardware:
Tough Enduro Max bearings and stout aluminum construction provide excellent durabilty with superb lateral stability.
