With a straightforward aluminum frame stroking 111mm of rear end travel out of a RockShox Monarch, you have all you need to take control of the trail. The 130mm-travel Pike fork leads you through technical rock gardens with buttery-smooth responsiveness. Light, strong WTB wheels are wrapped in Maxxis’ grippy Minion DHF tire up front and a speed-hungry Ardent out back for an aggressive, ride-all-day combo. Cranking out the flats and busting out climbs will come naturally with an 11-speed Shimano drivetrain, featuring SLX gears and crank, with an XT derailleur conducting. Braking is also handled by Shimano SLX hydraulics for speed control. Kona threw a 35mm bar and stem in the mix and spec’d a dropper post. All this adds up to a bike that blows past others on the climbs and blows minds on the way down.
