Stop Cycles Proletariat
This is the Proletariat, the first of a new breed of 29er commuter designed for Portlanders by Portlanders.
Proletariat includes an 8-speed Shimano Alfine component group with Gates carbon fiber belt drive system, disc brakes, fender/rack mounts, and comes in matte green or matte gunmetal grey.

Wheels handbuilt by Joe bike with Alfine generator front hub and 2.4W dyno light with capacitor
Alfine 2-piece cranks/bottom bracket, Shimano cable disc brakes, WTB Pathway tires

Typical builds will range from $1600-1800, depending on component choices. Custom builds can include Thomson, Chris King, Brooks, and many others.
Framesets are available for $799 including the Gates kit (belt, cog, chainring)!
