“Clever thinking and clean lines”: Treehugger highlights the Joe Bike
Discovery Channel blog Treehugger.com features the Joe Bike in its new roundup of cargo bikes. Though the blurb mentions joint China-US production of the bike (the image is of the original Joe Bike), we’re going against the tide by switching over to full Southeast Portland design and production (frame, cabin, canopy, wheels, etc.) this spring, using American-made chromoly. Watch for two uniquely useful bakfiets models to debut at PedalNation’s Bike Show April 10-11 in Portland.
